Who did it better? Sam Milby and Iza Calzado recite Pinoy tongue twisters!

Seasoned thespians Sam Milby and Iza Calzado are known for their compelling performances in the small and big screens. But, what if these dramatic stars swap the heart-piercing dialogues (like the ones they deliver in the trending Kapamilya series Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin) with Filipino tongue twisters? Find out below!

Sam jumpstarts the game by taking on the popular “Pinaputi ni Tepitorio ang pitong puting putong patong patong” tongue twister. It’s easy to assume that Sam would screw up, given that English is his mother tongue. Surprisingly, the FilAm heartthrob fares smoothly in the challenge from the beginning to end.

From there, Sam goes straight to “Sinusi ni Susan ang sisidlan ng sisiw” and “pagkakamali, kamalian, mali, magkamali, kasalanan” with so much confidence the mispronounced words go unnoticed.

The last phrase to test his skills is “Palakang kabkab, kumakalabukab; kaka-kalabukab pa lamang, kumakalabukab na naman.” Did he pass the expert level? Yes, with a few buckles but with a gazillion amount of conviction! It is safe to say that Sam’s Tagalog has gone a long way.

Now, Iza’s turn! The Kapamilya actress recites the same tongue twisters. Unlike Sam’s speedy style, Iza prefers to speak slowly and with clarity. When down to the longest phrase, “palakang Kabkab, kumakalabukab; kaka-kalabukab pa lamang, kumakalabukab na naman,” Iza tries not let her own laughter distract her from that ‘ginalingan na performance.’
