Search continues for missing Jake and Hope in Week 28 of Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin

With Jake (Grae Fernandez) and Hope (Kira Balinger) still nowhere to be found, all that we could see in the episodes in the Week 28 of Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin were their families and friends who have been doing everything they could in order to find them.

However, it seems that the teenagers are not keen in going back home soon as they went on to go farther away from their loved ones and refused to inform them regarding their exact plan and location. Even though this is already the situation, still no ceasefire took place between Ellice (Iza Calzado ) and Marissa (Jodi Sta. Maria).

As Jake and Hope went missing for more than a day already, both their families and friends joined forces and went on separate ways to find them. From posting and distributing their pictures everywhere and asking the help of authorities, to going on their own – they did all of these just to gain leads on their whereabouts.

But unbeknownst to them, the lives of the two teenagers, who were seemingly having a good time together, were actually in danger as Caesar (Simon Ibarra) and Belen (Rita Avila) had ordered their most trusted henchman Red (Manuel Chua) to kill them once he spotted them.

On their way to the place where Jake and Hope were reportedly last seen, Ellice couldn’t help but think of the moment when she pleaded to her rival in exchange of saving her daughter’s life. thus, she told herself,

Marissa, kapag may nangyaring masama sa anak ko, wala akong ibang sisisihin kundi ikaw”.

Meanwhile, Marissa couldn’t help but blame herself for what her beloved son did.

Red may have finally arrived at Jake and Hope’s location, but they’re quick enough to escape before he’s able to catch them.

Afterwards, their parents also arrived there as well separately, but instead of having a ceasefire, a heated confrontation erupted between Ellice and Marissa, with the former blaming the latter for what had happened.

Ellice ferociously approached her.

Marissa clapped back, emotionally saying, “Ellice, dalawa tayong may kasalanan dito.

Fortunately, Gabriel was there to stop them by saying that it’s not the right time for them to fight.

Already helpless, Marissa sought the help of her personal bodyguard Avel (Joseph Marco), who heeded to her request after notifying them that a henchman of Caesar was also seemingly looking for the two kids.

Upon knowing this, she immediately went to their office to confront Caesar, who told her that Belen only asked for his help. Dubious with his real intention, she warned him, “Kapag may nangyari sa mga bata, bumalik ka na sa pinanggalingan mo.”

As soon as she went home, the distraught Marissa was consoled by her Nanay Lucing (Maricel Soriano).

On the other hand, Ellice also got emotional in her conversation with her mom regarding Hope’s sudden loss.

Belen comforted her as well, saying, “Anak, wala kang kasalanan.

As soon as Gabriel received a reply from Jake for the e-mail he sent him that indicated their location, he immediately informed Marissa. Upon hanging up, she didn’t waste a second to relay it to Avel and they went on to go to the area together.

Maraming salamat sa lahat-lahat ng ginagawa mo para sa akin at sa pamilya ko,” she told him, which apparently surprised him and made him drive the car faster. Then she said, “Na-realize ko no’ng umalis si Jake, may mga bagay akong dapat sabihin bago mahuli ang lahat.”

The responding police officers were able to retrieve Jake’s phone, which he threw upon replying to his e-mail, and found a cryptic message containing Filipino delicacies he would want to try.

Meanwhile, as their car malfunctioned, the two teenagers agreed to go into the forest in order to completely escape from their unknown predator. Just when Red thought that he finally caught them, he was taken aback to discover that the car was empty. While he was calling his boss, he was shocked that Avel was behind him and was pointing a gun at him.

Marissa followed afterwards and angrily slapped him on the face. Telling her that he’s not afraid of her, Avel kicked him that caused him to kneel on the ground. He went on to warn them that it’s already I possible for them to get out of this mess and what she’d been dreading to happen would still push through even though they kill him on the spot.

Upon hearing this, she immediately snatched Avel’s gun in her attempt to shoot him. But Avel was able to appease her by reminding him, “Huwag mong hahayaang mabahiran ng dugo ang kamay mo.”

As the parents have been losing their minds in finding their broods, the same went for the grandmas – well, at least for Nanay Lucing and Carmelita (Cheska Iñigo) who relentlessly do everything they could in order to help. However, Belen was apparently not happy with it.

Ano ‘to? Nagpagawa ka ng call center? Kaya ako napapunta rito e, para pigilan kayo dahil nagsasayang lang kayo ng kuryente at resources ng kumpanya for nothing,” she told Lucing.

At sino ka man para pigilan kami? Hindi ba apo mo rin ang nawawala? Parang wala ka naman atang pakialam?” she clapped back.

“Of course, I’m worried about them. So itong ginagawa mo, wala tayong mapapala.

As all of them expressed their disagreement on her, Belen just walked out.

While their families have been going gaga in finding them, Jake and Hope went on with their journey and chanced upon a shack in the middle of the forest. They immediately ran inside it and immediately devoured the food they spotted on the table without waiting for its owner to return.

Later that evening, it was revealed that the owner was an old woman, who was really mad upon seeing them inside the house. She was supposed to hit them with her bolo, but stopped when they assured her that they are good people and just looking for a place to stay in.

Meanwhile, Gabriel caught Belen talking to Caesar on the phone about finding the kids as soon as possible. Much to her surprise, he confronted her. But she was able to utter an alibi and told him that she asked a friend favor to help them in finding Jake and Hope.

As they stayed with Lola Auring (Aurora Yumul), they found out that she’s actually nice and she even taught them basic household chores and life lessons, too! As Lola Auring noticed how Hope was apparently not used in washing the dishes, she didn’t simply instruct her how to do it right, but reminded her a trait that she should imbibe that ensued to a friendly debate between them.

Lola Auring told her.

With everything that has been going on in their family, Sonya (Desiree del Valle) imparted her realizations with regards to her relationship with her daughter Heidi (Michelle Vito).

“At that time, Heidi was about Jake and Hope’s age. You know that now that I think about it, I really think that Ellice and Marissa should really listen to their kids for once,” she stated.

I can only hope that when all of this is done, Ellice and Marissa will finally come to their senses,” Carmelita said.

Kaibigan ko si Marissa, but if something bad happens to Jake and Hope, I don’t think I’ll be able to side with her anymore.”
