Meanwhile, Marissa was already planting the seeds of her vengeful scheme against Ellice as she offered to help her run her business.

In Episode 10, Marissa happily confirmed her pregnancy with Gabriel to Blue (Nico Antonio), out of a nearly celebration of her evil plot to steal Gabriel from Ellice. This showed us how an almost full-proof scheme crumbled before Marissa as she found out that Ellice was also pregnant to her and Gabriel’s child.

Episode 11 raised the stakes between Marissa and Ellice friendship and conflict. Ellice lovingly pushed Marissa to go after the father of her child to hold him accountable for his actions; except, she did not know that the baby daddy was her own husband —Gabriel — who happened to be in the room with them the whole time! 

The biggest twist of all was that the guilt-stricken Gabriel would be part of the Cenidoza’s company, while Nanay Lucing continued working for the Ceñidozas knowing all too well that Marissa and Ellice unborn children share a father. This definitely took the title of the series to a whole new level!
