In the middle of a media briefing, President Oscar (Rowell Santiago) faints and is immediately rushed to the hospital. The President is in comatose state due to the effects of the high-dosage drug administered by Lily (Lorna Tolentino). The latter knows she couldn’t afford to just let the situation worsen as it would signal the end of her game and ignite a bigger war.
Chief Justice Conde and Vice President Avellana talk about the President’s status. And as mandated by the constitution, they both know that Avellana must take on the presidency once President Oscar is proven incapable of still running his duties. So, Avellana comes to the hospital to check on the situation. After answering a few questions from the press, Avellana faces Lily and Art (Tirso Cruz III) to discuss the rule of succession.
To Avellana’s surprise, Lily tells him that President Oscar is now in a stable condition and things have gotten better, far from what the public has recently witnessed. President Oscar’s doctor enters to prove Lily’s claims. Unknown to everyone, the defenseless physician was threatened by Art and Lily to cover up the truth in exchange of her and her family’s safety.
Later, Lily and Art prepare their escape from the hospital with President Oscar’s double courtesy of Renato (John Arcilla). And heeding to Art’s suggestion, Lily sends Edwin (Marc Manicad) home.
Meanwhile, Teddy (Joel Torre) and Roxanne (Shaina Magdayao) remain vigilant in the hospital. Teddy stays with his fellow reporters and waits for further announcement while Roxanne tries to inspect the place.
