Lazaro (Gardo Versoza) continues to harbor Renato (John Arcilla) despite his growing skepticism on the latter’s loyalty. He finds Renato indulging both their armies with tons of money as reward for their good work. Renato is in a good mood as all his plans and operations are going on smoothly, so he invites everyone for a celebration.
Renato doesn’t make a big deal of Lazaro’s remarks about his generosity. He says he is just indulging his allies showing unquestionable loyalty, appearing as though hinting at Lazaro’s adherence in their allegiance.
Later on, Lazaro talks to his right-hand man, Cedric (Ivan Carapiet). Lazaro is getting worried now that Renato seems like doing things on his own. He thinks of the possibility of being left behind as soon as Renato wins the loyalty of all their men.
Cedric admits that Renato is urging him to cross over his side but still, Cedric claims his devotion to Lazaro cannot be marred by any amount of money. Cedric (Ivan Carapiet) suggests Lazaro of checking on the vault placed inside Renato’s room to know if the latter is pulling one on him. Upon accomplishing the task, Cedric goes back to Lazaro and shows him a bag containing massive amount of money he stole from Renato.
Lazaro’s rage blazes more as he discovers that Renato is taking a bigger share from the spoils of their illegal operations. Lazaro boldly decides to keep the stolen money despite Renato’s possible reaction.
Lazaro orders Cedric to gather their men and plot a vile plan against his partner turned enemy.
