Apart from cunning, the powerful First Lady and a secret mafia leader, Lily (Lorna Tolentino), has greed and villainy running through her veins. So, when her husband, President Oscar Hidalgo (Rowell Santiago) was in a coma, she took the situation as the perfect time to put everything under her control.
Lily, and her devoted ally Arturo (Tirso Cruz III), hired a small-time guy named Mariano (Rowell Santiago) to take on the President’s identity. But without prior training, Mariano would struggle to pull it off, leading to hilarious blunders and provoking the perennially miffed First Lady. We rounded up the scenes showing Lily’s ‘gigil’ moments over Mariano’s stupidity in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
Lily handed Mariano a list of names to memorize including that of the Malacanang Palace helpers and staff. The next day, Lily was infuriated to bits when Mariano called Elizabeth (Whitney Tyson) by another name.
Trying to erase the helper’s doubts, Lily demanded Mariano to feast on the sinigang na hipon, President Oscar’s ultimate dish. He would oblige without disclosing his food allergy. Later, Lily would blow a fuse as Mariano begins to suffer from allergic reactions. She ordered her security to contact the doctor quickly.
“Hindi ba uso sa’yo ang paggamit ng utak,” she furiously told him. Lily ran out of patience as Mariano tried to reason out. Meanwhile, back in the kitchen, Elizabeth told Ambo (Nonong Ballinan) how the incident heightened her suspicion over the President’s real status. She came up with a plan to sneak inside President Oscar’s room to talk with him.
In the final scene from this montage, Lily was seen annoyed upon learning that Mariano is an alcoholic. He said he suffers from tremors when deprived of alcohol. Albeit irked, Lily gave in to Mariano’s request to take on some liquor before his public appearances rather than present an agitated President to the people.
