It’s been a year since funny man Empoy Marquez surprised FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano fans when he appeared on the show as a promdi trying his fortune in the big city. He’s named as Domeng, short for Domengzu, reminding viewers of a handsome leading man from an old Asianovela. Dreaming of becoming an actor, Domeng, whose real name is Dominggo Zuarez, tried to audition for a reality show but he accidentally lined up in the wrong place. The gullible Bulakenyo ended up working as a performer in a gay club which, unknown to him, was a drug den targeted by the Task Force Agila. He spent a few hours in jail until Cardo (Coco Martin) was convinced of his innocence and decided to hire him as a police asset. Since then, the newest sidekick has been a favorite character in the series because of his foolishness and humorous bragging.
