The grand opening of Flora’s Garden starts with the store blessing followed by the ribbon-cutting rites headed by Oscar (Rowell Santiago). Then, Lola Flora delivers a short speech in front of her family, friends, neighbors, and special guests.
First, she thanks Oscar for gracing the special event despite his busy schedule and other obligations as a President. She expresses gratitude for Lily’s (Lorna Tolentino) support as well.
Lola Flora also thanks her neighbors who’ve always been there to patronize her products since putting up a smaller eatery at the sidewalk of their previous abode. Lola Flora looks back on her humble beginnings where she only had a single table, a long chair, and a few recipes for her customers. Now that her business venture has flourished a little, Lola Flora is glad her neighbors are still there to show patronage and provide her inspiration.
Lola Flora is grateful for Aling Emma’s kindness and for giving her the chance to rent up the huge space for her eatery.
Then, she thanks her family for always being there to provide assistance in her endeavors; and for sticking by her side in times of trouble, pain, and joy.
Lola Flora also shows appreciation to the townsmen of Santo Nino who provided Cardo home and care during those times when she was deeply worried about him. She also thanks the CIDG boys for saving her and her family from harm in times when Cardo was away. She says the event is also a celebration of the Task Force Agila’s success.
Most especially, Lola Flora talks about Cardo, the reason for her desire to gather more strength and live longer. Lola Flora says Cardo is her inspiration and she prays for his safety in every task he’s going to face.
After the heartwarming speech, Lola Flora invites everyone to start the feast.
While Cardo and his friends and family are having a good time, Dante (Baron Geisler) and his henchmen are just around the corners; waiting to attack anytime soon. Dante gets even more excited after seeing the clusters of cops and members of the PSG around the venue.
