At Baranggay Bagong Pag-Asa, Juan (Romnick Sarmenta) hides his identity using a headgear and attacks the Dalisay residence. A lot of innocent bystanders in that same compound are caught in the shootout. The Task Force Agila tries to catch the gunman. Juan receives a series of gunshot wounds, enough to cripple his moves. But just as when the good guys almost corner the ruthless criminal, Juan blasts the place with a grenade, enabling him to escape.
That night, Lola Flora (Susan Roces) becomes emotional as she prays for her family, especially Delfin (Jaime Fabregas). The scene cuts to Delfin waking up to an excruciating pain in his abdomen. Delfin groans, vomits blood, and then faints. Delfin is rushed to the hospital all the while Lola Flora is crying out of worry. The doctor says Delfin is in a terrible condition and must undergo several tests.
The next day, Francine (Juliana Parizcova-Segovia)’s group rushes to the Padua residence to report the incident. Helen (Ara Mina) and Art (Tirso Cruz III) warn Clarice (Rhen Escano) to forgo her obsession towards Cardo (Coco Martin) as the cop’s enemies seem to be piling up. And they never want Clarice to get involved in Cardo’s troubles.
The Task Force Agila reports the incident to the headquarters. Cardo insists his suspicion that only Juan has the motive to execute the crime. He plans to roam around the area in an attempt to gather solid evidence against the suspect, unaware that Juan is just around the corner.
