While Alyana (Yassi Pressman) is feeling distressed over Cardo (Coco Martin)’s reckless decisions and stubborn behaviour, Juan (Romnick Sarmenta) strikes as the two-faced villain. He comes to Alyana’s comfort while feeding her mind with suspicion towards her own husband. Juan stirs Alyana’s jealousy as he narrates Cardo and Clarice (Rhen Escano)’s alleged relationship. Cardo arrives just in time to catch Juan in the act. This results to a brawl between them and the discovery of Juan’s true nature.
Juan allows himself to appear as the underdog. Alyana meddles in the commotion. Juan gets up and vows to make his rival pay.
Later, Juan starts plotting his revenge. Riding on a motorcycle and keeping his identity hidden, he showers the compound with bullets, targeting the Dalisay residence. A lot of innocent bystanders are caught in the shootout. Cardo and the Task Force Agila try to catch the gunman. Juan receives a series of gunshot wounds, enough to cripple his moves. But just as when the good guys almost corner the ruthless criminal, Juan blasts the place with a grenade, enabling him to escape.
Lola Flora (Susan Roces) is full of fear and worry. Diana (Angel Aquino) scans the crime scene but even the cops still remain clueless of the suspect’s identity. Not long after, Cardo’s group comes home with a bad news. They talk about the gunman’s possible motive and identity. Cardo says that Juan might be the culprit. But his friends express disbelief as they never saw Juan display a rough attitude. Besides, the weapon used was a high-calibre firearm. Cardo orders the task force to inspect Juan’s apartment but the room is neatly vacated
Juan contacts Lily (Lorna Tolentino) to inform her of what happened. The First Lady, troubled with President Oscar (Rowell Santiago)’s status in the hospital, simply tells her favorite assassin to lay low and not to add up to her problems. Besides, they need to be prepared for a bigger war just in case President Oscar dies due to the high-dosage drug given by Lily.
