Cardo (Coco Martin) arrives just in time to catch Juan (Romnick Sarmenta) in the act of backstabbing him, resulting to a fight between them. Juan allows himself to appear as the underdog but later on starts plotting his revenge. Riding on a motorcycle and keeping his identity hidden, he showers the compound with bullets, targeting the Dalisay residence. A lot of innocent bystanders are caught in the shootout. Cardo and the Task Force Agila try to catch the gunman. Juan receives a series of gunshot wounds, enough to cripple his moves. But just as when the good guys almost corner the ruthless criminal, Juan blasts the place with a grenade, enabling him to escape.
Analyzing the gunman’s possible motive and identity, Cardo says that Juan aka Lemuel might be the culprit. His friends express disbelief as they never saw Juan display a rough attitude. Besides, the weapon used was a high-calibre firearm. Cardo orders the task force to inspect Juan’s apartment but the room is neatly vacated. Still, Cardo insists on his suspicion. He instructs the cops, barangay patrolmen, and his fellow Task Force Agila members to be vigilant. The de Leon family and Task Force Agila continue to discuss Juan’s possible involvement in the crime.
Juan goes to the house provided by Lily (Lorna Tolentino) to lay low and tend to his own wounds. Rage is burning in his eyes as he vows to get back at Cardo and take Alyana (Yassi Pressman) from him. Even if his group is facing another problem due to President Oscar (Rowell Santiago)’s health condition, Juan is determined to continue his evil plans against Cardo; and he wishes to pursue him as soon as possible. Juan’s anger is enflamed as he wakes up from a nightmare that reminded him of his face-to-face encounter with his biggest enemy.
Meanwhile, Cardo soothes his family’s fear, saying he will not leave their side to keep them protected.
