Cardo (Coco Martin) and the Vendetta arrive earlier than their call time at the Camp Crame for their first day of duty. The group walks around the area and finds a chapel within the camp’s vicinity. Cardo and his team decide to get inside and pray for their personal intentions.
Cardo thanks the Lord for the new opportunity to serve his fellowmen by protecting the country against the criminals. He also implores guidance and safety from any danger they may encounter while on duty. He surrenders everything in the Lord’s hands. More so, Cardo prays for the welfare of their own families whom they can’t be in touch with while at work. He asks for strength and enlightenment entailed in fulfilling their roles; and that they may be spared from temptation over the course of their job.
The scene cuts to Billy (John Medina), Mark (Lester Llansang), and Chikoy (Michael Roy Jornales) talking about the lovely lady cops joining the Presidential Anti-crime Task Force. Chikoy jests it is a sign that they may be going to settle down anytime soon.
As they continue exploring the camp, the team chances upon the CIDG building. Rigor (Marc Solis) shares that the CIDG handles all high-profile cases. Jerome (John Prats) adds that Cardo was once a member of the CIDG before he joined in the Vendetta; drawing praises from his friends.
Meanwhile, the female members of the task force talk about their excitement on their first day of work. The rest tease Tricia (Stacey Gabriel), saying she is only looking forward to meeting the male cops especially Cardo. Tricia denies her friends’ assumption.
