Renato (John Arcilla) opts to start a kidnap-for-ransom scheme and his first victim is a mafia leader named Nicolas Mora. His initial plan was to ask Mora’s wife for a ransom amounting to one hundred million but Lazaro (Gardo Versoza) finds it too inadequate and suggests doubling the price instead.
Apparently, Mora is having a meeting with Lily (Lorna Tolentino) that night in a cafe. Mora wants to settle with Lily’s proposal in his hideout but the latter insists that a public place is more unlikely to be attacked by Renato; clueless that the foe they are hiding from is just around the corner.
In their conversation, Lily offers Mora help in terms of doubling his force and a hundred million peso aid in exchange of forming an allegiance with her against Renato.
The meeting is cut short when Renato’s henchmen start firing the place with bullets. Lily’s bodyguards secure her safety; leaving Mora all by himself. Renato’s army successfully kidnaps Mora.
Renato sees Lily coming out of the establishment. He tries to fire at her but Lily’s men save her life.
After a while, Renato receives the random money from Mora’s wife but instead of freeing the captive, Renato shots Mora to death.
In the hideout, Renato clears off Lazaro’s mind from worries. He is certain Lily will not speak up as doing so would only backfire at her. More so, he believes the shoot-out incident at the restaurant will eventually die even before the cops trace him.
Renato picks up the broadsheet and reads the headline about a bank robbery courtesy of Dante’s (Baron Geisler) group. He blurts out his evil laugh as he thinks about the endless challenges President Oscar Hidalgo (Rowell Santiago) is still facing at the moment.
