While the heroes are celebrating their victory, Renato (John Arcilla) continues in his plans of building his powers. In the previous episodes, Renato’s strategy was to murder the mafia leaders who were once under Lucas’ (Edu Manzano) protection. Then, he would rob them off all their riches. Renato would use the stolen money in strengthening his group.
But this time, Renato opts to start a kidnap-for-ransom scheme and his first victim is a syndicate head named Nicolas Mora. His initial plan was to ask Mora’s wife for a ransom amounting to one hundred million pesos but Lazaro (Gardo Versoza) finds it too inadequate and suggests doubling the price instead.
Renato smiles at Lazaro’s greediness and he feels satisfied that Lazaro is undoubtedly on his side. Lazaro commends Renato’s strategies and says the two of them will soon emerge as the biggest syndicate in the country.
Renato orders his men to keep an eye on Mora who, apparently, is having a meeting with Lily (Lorna Tolentino) in a café that night. Mora wants to settle with Lily’s proposal in his hideout but the latter insists that a public place is more unlikely to be attacked by Renato; clueless that the foe they are hiding from is just around the corner.
In their conversation, Lily offers Mora help in terms of doubling his force and a hundred million peso aid in exchange of forming allegiance with her against Renato.
The meeting is cut short when Renato’s henchmen start firing the place with bullets. Lily’s security secures her safety; leaving Mora all by himself. Renato’s army
Renato sees Lily coming out of the establishment. He tries to fire at her but Lily’s bodyguards save her life. successfully kidnaps Mora.
