Besides her laudable devotion to her husband, Alyana (Yassi Pressman) is known for her saintly patience. She rarely gets pushed to her limits. But when provoked, especially by women trying to lure Cardo (Coco Martin), the soft-hearted Alyana won’t think twice in unleashing her inner lioness, as seen in this scenes from FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
The peaceful life of the Dalisay family was challenged when the Padua clan settled in the same neighborhood. It smelled like trouble the moment they arrived. True enough, everyone inside the Padua residence – from the patriarch Judge Arturo Padua (Tirso Cruz III) to his two entitled kids – brought problems to Alyana’s post as Baranggay Captain.
There was an instance when Jimbo (Jerald Napoles) almost hit Letlet (Iyannah Sumalpong) due to his speedy driving. As the chairman and mother of the victim, Alyana invited Jimbo for a talk in the barangay hall but the offender did not oblige. Jimbo acted arrogant instead, and his family especially mom Ellen (Ara Mina) and his sister Clarice (Rhen Escano) backed him up. It was the first of many more heated encounters between Alyana and Clarice.
Clarice started to act obsessed with Cardo and she would do whatever it takes to win his heart. So, when confronted by Alyana due to complaints for selling fake items, Clarice looked at the event as just another satisfying opportunity to mock her rival. Alyana ended up as the loser because of Clarice’s power-tripping behavior. The latter would always use her dad’s position as Executive Secretary to get away with troubles.
However, Alyana isn’t always timid and submissive especially when fighting for her marriage and family. We’ve seen her stormed to the Padua residence to confront Clarice for trying to seduce Cardo and for kissing him on the lips. Juan (Romnick Sarmenta)’s false narrative added insult to the injury. Alyana’s rage was ablaze, to the point of creating a tumultuous uproar. “Nasaan si Clarice Padua! Clarice Padua, ilabas mo ang asawa ko! Inaakit mo ‘yung asawa ko!”
Although it would be satisfying to see Alyana slapping and pulling the hair of the wannabe mistress, she just isn’t that violent. So, when provoked in another event, Alyana opted to just hit the annoying antagonist with sharp ‘taray’ lines. The squabble ended with Clarice losing against Alyana’s camp.
In the recent events in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, Clarice helped Cardo escape from her own father’s henchmen. Will this finally end the female war between her and Alyana or will it make things worse? Find out in the next episodes of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
