Clarice (Rhen Escano)’s evil potential has gotten full-blown in the recent episodes of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano. But while viewers are getting extremely infuriated, the people around her remain oblivious to her schemes, especially Patrick (CJ Ramos) and Aling Maring (Marissa Sanchez) who is starting to love her as her own.
Aling Maring and husband, Ramon (Eric Nicolas), had always dreamt of having their own child. So, when Clarice arrived and showed kindness, Aling Maring felt like she has found a daughter to love.
Like a true mother, she promised to train her as a responsible young woman. They begin in the kitchen. Clarice’s goody-goody act kicked off by offering a helping hand in the cooking chores.
Aling Maring was patient enough to teach Clarice the basics such as cutting and washing the vegetables. She also taught her the proper way of feeding the chickens and keeping the farm clean.
From having zero domestic knowledge, Clarice bit by bit learned how to complete household tasks, thanks to Aling Maring. As days passed, running the entire house and farm has become their ultimate bonding activity, thus the growing closeness.
Aling Maring takes care of Clarice like a true daughter. There was a scene where she handed her a hat to protect her from the sun while she’s working. She reminded her to take care of her skin, put a towel on the back, and avoid caterpillar stings at the farm. And if ever Clarice gets insect bites, Aling Maring promised to treat her wound. At that moment, she called her ‘anak’ and expressed her desire to have a daughter as beautiful and kind as Clarice.
Clarice expressed gratitude. Her eyes displayed hints of gloom, saying Aling Maring reminds her of her late biological mother. Whether it came out truthfully or not, admit it, that scene was so heartwarming. Clarice also mentioned that her step-mom, Ellen (Ara Mina), was always busy with their business, so she didn’t have time to take care of and train her, unlike Aling Maring.
Add to this list the moment when they talked about the beauty of province life. Clarice said she’s starting to love “buhay-probinsya” – its simplicity and peace as a contrast to the noise of the city. Aling Maring was delighted to hear those words and she told Clarice to keep up the good attitude until she completely wins the trust of Cardo (Coco Martin)’s group.
The last scene in this Kapamilya Toplist shows Aling Maring and Lolo Delfin (Jaime Fabregas) talking about Clarice’s change of heart. They are starting to fall for her schemes, oblivious to her underhanded dirty games.
Recently, Clarice secretly spitted on Bubbles (Bianca Manalo)’s coffee. And we might not know what “maldita” acts she’s about to do in the coming days.
So, don’t miss an episode of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, weeknights, on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Live, and A2Z Channel 11.
