The law is supposed to protect the innocent and save the victim. But it is no surprise that these rules can be easily bent to serve anyone’s agenda, especially for those who are corrupt and power hungry. On FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, Kapamilyas have seen time and time again how these villains can twist the law. But each time, Cardo (Coco Martin) fought for what is good, even if that meant going against the system and getting into a brawl or two.
When Jimbo (Jerald Napoles) almost ran over Letlet (Iyannah Sumalpong) and refused to take responsibility of her injuries, Cardo was quick to rush over to the Padua’s house. Arturo (Tirso Cruz III) defended his son’s actions and warned them not to get police involve. “Nakalimutan mo na ba na judge ako at alam ko kung papaano paikutin ang batas?” the antagonist threatened. This confrontation only ended in a physical faceoff between Cardo and Jimbo.
Our hero’s biggest problem now, however, is proving his Lolo Delfin’s (Jaime Fabregas) innocence. Money, guns, and drugs were found in his room which served as evidence for the CIDG’s arrest. But Cardo is convinced that his grandfather is being set up for a crime he did not commit. And the only way to settle this is by taking matters into his own hands.
It does not help that some people are convinced that the General is guilty. They even use this to provoke Cardo. Unfortunately for them, he usually wins in the fights. Not even a suspension from being a police officer will stop him. On his own, he continues to pursue the truth. Somehow, he already managed to uncover Renato Hipolito’s (John Arcilla) involvement.
What will Cardo’s next move be? Do not miss a single episode of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano on Primetime Bida.
