In the past seven years, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano has indeed filled our primetime viewing with action, drama, inspiration, and even a dash of romance and comedy.
But aside from simply following the journey of our mighty hero Cardo Dalisay and his ever-dependable and courageous cohorts dubbed Task Force Agila, we also find ourselves amused by the awesome and solid bond they’re able to establish not just on-screen, but behind the camera, too!
And as the well-loved series arrives at its “Ang Pambansang Pagtatapos” this week, let’s take a look on some of their adorable bonding moments off-cam in this Kapamilya Snaps feature!
Avid viewers would know that the famous troop was comprised by lead star and director Coco Martin and supporting actors John Prats, Michael De Mesa, Angel Aquino, Shaina Magdayao, Raymart Santiago, Lordivino “Bassilyo” Ignacio, Sancho Delas Alas, Bryan “Smugglaz” Lao, CJ Ramos, John Medina, and Jay Gonzaga.
They may come from different generations and have different personalities, but just like any group of friends, the cast shares same interests that they truly enjoy. They apparently love to bond over food, especially a quick snack on set, and to start the day together with a hearty and sumptuous breakfast ever since their lock-in taping began.
Staying together inside their bubble for weeks for their lock-in taping have also allowed them to work out and stay fit together. Some of them have also discovered and developed their mutual love for birds, and fondly called themselves “Birdmen.” Besides, they even formed their own motorcycling club tagged “G120” or “Grupo Siento Bente” since some of them own motorbikes and love to go on long rides whenever they’re not at work.
Filming in different locations has granted Task Force Agila, as well, a chance to travel and enjoy the scenic spots around the Philippines together that further solidified their brotherhood.
However, some of their most candid bonding moments are captured in between scenes with quick group shots as the set turns into a hangout spot for the actors whenever they’re not busy shooting. In the years that they’ve been together, they were able to celebrate their birthdays and other special milestones in their lives with one another on the set, too.
These snaps are proof that the brotherhood of Task Force Agila only continues to grow whether they’re acting in front of the camera or the reels stop rolling.
May we be able to find friends who eventually become true family, just like what the cast members of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano have found after almost seven years on-air. We will definitely miss you, Task Force Agila!
Don’t dare leave Task Force Agila in the last stretch of their battle against their wicked enemies in the “Ang Pambansang Pagtatapos” finale week of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, weeknights on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, A2Z, TV5 and iWantTFC.
