Maika thought of Lorna Tolentino as the cast member who can easily turn the waterworks on. “Namumula pa ‘yung mata niya tapos nanginginig pa siya,” she described her during crying scenes.

The ‘kilabot’ is real when she’s acting side by side John Arcilla, whom they call “Heneral.” “He’s very different ‘pag nasa harap ng camera, sobrang kontrabida. But he is so sweet and loving and gentle.”

The most chill cast members are Ara Mina and their master yogi Rowell Santiago. “Minsan 5am, nandon siya sa pool area, nagyo-yoga tapos naka-head stunt pa siya,” she said of the actor-director playing dual roles as the President and an imposter.

The source of ‘kwento’ is their stylist they fondly call Mama Sam. Maika expressed appreciation to the people behind the scenes for being so welcoming and helpful. Asked who she’ll miss the most, she answered, “Lahat. Ngayon pa lang na naiisip ko, naiiyak na ako.”
