Aya Fernandez, always voted by her co-stars as ‘matakaw,’ will now have her little, playful act of revenge as she takes on the Bukingan Challenge, this time about the cast of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
The Kapamilya actress named Jane De Leon as the ‘antukin’ co-star. She has selfies with a sleeping Jane to serve as evidence. “Pero ang ganda pa rin niya!” she enthused.
“Lahat,” she answered when asked who easily cries during takes. The ‘kilabot’ is real when she’s having a scene with Coco Martin.
Aya admitted to heaping the most number of takes. “Kasi ‘yung mga pagkakamali, blocking, ilaw, mga technical. Sobrang punong puno ako ng emosyon tapos parang, ‘Cut! ‘Yung ilaw! Aya, ang ganda ng iyak mo pero ‘yung ilaw.’ Pero bumawi naman ako. Noong sumunod na, one take na,” shared the former beauty queen and VJ.
“Ikaw ba naman, masabihan ka ng isang Coco Martin at Michael de Mesa na ‘Hanapin mo ang ilaw mo.’ Pagkagising ko pa lang sa umaga, hinahanap ko na ang ilaw ko,” she joked to downplay Kapamilya Chat’s praises.
Asked who often bursts into laughter during takes, Cristina Gonzales popped up in her mind. Recall that drama-heavy scene where the Mante family discovered their patriarch Fernando (Christian Vasquez)’s betrayal. It looked polished on TV, of course, but we didn’t see Cristina laughing over Jane’s slight blooper.
Aya has a list of the goofiest people on set. The Top 1 would have to be Raymart Santiago, followed by John Prats, Sancho Delas Alas, Smugglaz, and Bassilyo. “Naalala n’yo yung eksena na dinala ‘yung mga pasyente sa bahay namin? Grabe! Nakakatawa talaga! Nagpapanggap sila pero ‘pag nasa amin ‘yung camera, nagpapatawa sila,” shared Aya.
They repeated the ‘kalokohan’ in that scene where Aya checked up Lolo Delfin (Jaime Fabregas). The boys were making funny faces while she’s telling her lines.
Aya voted Mark Manicad as the most ‘chillax’ cast member. She said Michael de Mesa loves to chat, but she was scared of him at first, “Kasi napapanood ko siya dati as kontrabida. Lagi din kasi siyang seryoso tapos maya-maya nagjo-joke. Dami kong nalaman kay Tito Mike sobrang sweet niyang tao.”
Another ‘ma-chika’ FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano star is Jaime Fabregas. “Sobrang dami niya nashe-share. Sobrang funny niya, alam n’yo ‘yung mga daddy jokes. Sobrang cute niya!”
Among the cast, she will miss her roommate Angel Aquino the most, “Kasi tinuring niya ako na parang anak.”
Lastly, asked the ‘pinakamataw’ among them, Aya pleaded non-guilty. “Kung wala po kayong ebidensya, hindi po totoo ‘yun,” she joked.
