Besides the action-packed missions, meeting gorgeous ladies makes Cardo Dalisay (Coco Martin)’s life more exciting to his avid fans. There are actually two women in the Mante abode Cardo can possibly fall in love with – Audrey and her younger sister Lia (Jane De Leon). However, the latter is bad news to the stalwart cop, being a Black Ops officer and the one who gunned down Alyanna (as far as he knows). So while Cardo is perennially miffed towards Lia, he is surprisingly soft towards Audrey, who shows them kindness by being a hands-on doctor to Lolo Delfin (Jaime Fabregas).
Cardo and Audrey, now baptized by fans as CaDrey, have grown comfortable with each other that they can open up about their pain and problems. In a scene, he advised her to forgive her dad, Fernando (Christian Vasquez), for committing a big marital mistake. He related one of his biggest realizations in life, which is the importance of family. Cardo touched Audrey’s hand as a sign of encouragement and comfort.
Together, they prepared Lolo Delfin’s meal. Audrey was extra hands-on in helping the old man recover. She would feed him and give words of motivation. While taking care of Lolo Delfin, Audrey and Cardo exchanged glances and smiled at each other.
In another scene, Audrey was pleased when Cardo thanked her for her help. She said she’s simply doing her duty as a doctor. Besides, she can sense that Cardo and the Task Force Agila are good people.
Audrey didn’t have a hard time asking for permission to go back to work unlike Lia, who was doubted by Cardo’s group. And at a time of this growing closeness between Cardo and Audrey, Lia was caught watching them in silence. Will this be the start of a complicated love triangle?
