5 dramatic scenes of Aurora in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano

They say that people with the kindest hearts end up suffering the most. Aurora (Sharon Cuneta), even if her only wish was to care for others and live a happy life, continues to receive life’s hardest punches because of the wickedness of people surrounding her. Watch her heartbreaking moments in this Friday 5 video from the hit action-drama series FPJ's Ang Probinsyano.

Reunion scenes are often the most tearjerkers in a series, especially when it involves family members still embittered by the past. Aurora rushed to the Philippines upon learning about her father Don Ignacio (Tommy Abuel)’s condition, oblivious to the latter faking his sickness.

It’s heartbreaking for a daughter to know that her parent is dying, and even more so when she couldn’t find the will to forgive him due to his selfishness that destroyed her life. Aurora unleashed pent up emotions as Don Ignacio asked forgiveness. She stressed that his decisions, which killed many including her own child, will never deserve forgiveness.

Besides the pain over family, Aurora also grieves over her first love that died still due her father’s self-interest. In a conversation with Mara (Julia Montes), who saved her from the abductors, Aurora recalled her bittersweet romance with President Oscar (Rowell Santiago). She remembers how their love story started, the problematic things that happened in between, and its tragic end. She remembers everything.

Oscar, however, couldn’t recall anything from their past. On their reunion, he insulted her instead. Lily (Lorna Tolentino)’s lies rubbed salt in the wound. Aurora was told that Oscar only used her for ambition. She broke down and sought Lucia (Vangie Labalan)’s comfort, clueless that the Oscar she faced was the imposter Mariano.

From broken relationships with the family and her lover, Aurora also deals with broken friendships. She encountered Lolita (Rosanna Roces) amid the commotion at Don Ignacio’s exhibit. And their reunion was harsh and bitter. She was blamed for the death of Lolita and Armando (John Estrada)’s child, and all the innocent others killed in the massacre ordered by Don Ignacio. Aurora sought her best friend’s forgiveness but Lolita wasn’t a bit convinced.

Even the people of San Andres despise her. When she went there to make amends, the townsfolk furiously drove her away. Nobody wanted to forget the memories of the massacre, scared that it might happen again if Aurora starts to reconnect with them.

Aurora has seemingly lost everyone. When will she find people who will truly love her? Don’t miss an episode of FPJ's Ang Probinsyano, weeknights, on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, and A2Z.
