10 times Lily, Renato, and Arturo fought over power and influence in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano

Villains Lily (Lorna Tolentino), Renato (John Arcilla) and Arturo (Tirso Cruz III) were once upon a time on the same team sharing a common goal to eliminate Cardo (Coco Martin). The greed for power, however, is so intense that there could only be one of them on the throne. The three ‘kontrabidas’ now clash to prove who’s the most powerful of them all, be it in politics or in the world of syndicate. In this Kapamilya Toplist, we rounded up the most heated scenes of Lily, Renato, and Arturo as they try to crush one another in FPJs Ang Probinsyano.

Lily, Renato, and Arturo once connived for Cardo’s downfall. Renato, however, slowly and furtively invaded the Presidential palace by manipulating Mariano (Rowell Santiago) and Ellen (Ara Mina), both of whom served as his eye in Malacañang.

As if the distress brought about by Renato’s tactics wasn’t enough, Lily found another ally-turned-enemy in Arturo. Different priorities caused their rift. Lily was focused on growing the syndicate’s transactions while Arturo wanted to dwell on hunting down Cardo and the Task Force Agila to avenge his daughter’s death. Due to this conflict, Arturo decided to join forces with Renato instead.

It didn’t help that Lily was hiding her plans from Arturo. Analyzing the situation, Arturo figured that Lily is using Cassandra (Maika Rivera) to seduce Mariano. He also realized she knew about Mariano and Ellen’s affair all along but kept quiet for her selfish gains.

The rivalry would extend outside the political realm as they also fight over the most powerful drug lords in the country. Lily almost closed a deal with Don Ignacio (Tommy Abuel), who they say is the most powerful man in the North. Arturo, however, used his past affiliation with the old man to get him and Renato in the mix.

As soon as Don Ignacio left, the three ambitious villains engaged in a confrontation. Lily had enough of Renato always stealing what she believes rightfully belongs to her. Arturo, on the other hand, came to Renato’s defense and stressed his past connections with Don Ignacio. It got so intense their men pointed guns at each other.

During the hostage-taking incident in Ilocos, Renato coated his voice with sarcasm as he ordered Lily to just leave. He said he’s more capable of handling the situation, thanks to his background as a National Defense officer. Then he mocked what a mere syndicate leader can do in such crises.

The filing of candidacy opened, signalling the start of a violent and scandalous election. Renato decided to run for Presidency with Arturo as his running mate. They may look like a deadly combo but Lily is confident she’ll win thanks to Mariano’s support.

Tension happened during the filing as Lily confronted her opponent, Renato, about the history of allegations against him. Playing the cards well, Renato displayed some classic political charisma while denying his involvement in the issues. He said his life is an open book and that the real monsters are those keeping skeletons. Mariano got annoyed and almost attacked Renato if it weren’t for Lily’s constant refrain to act properly when in public.

It’s going to be a nasty, dangerous circus as Renato, Arturo, and Lily fight over the ultimate prize – the Presidential seat – in the long-running action-drama series FPJs Ang Probinsyano. Tune in to each episode weeknights on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, and A2Z.
