From turning our evenings action-packed through the intense and nail-biting clashes, the FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano ensemble is currently on ceasefire as they unite and express their support to ABS-CBN following its unforeseen shutdown in compliance of the cease-and-desist order imposed by the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) last May 5.
Since physical assemblage is impossible due to the enhanced community quarantine, talents, employees, and supporters of the network took to social media to air their sentiments and to join the online rally dubbed #LabanKapamilya, as well, by uploading a photo of them with their fists clenched on their chests and facing the camera pokerfaced.
Among the cast members of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano who participated in the online demonstration of support are Coco Martin, Yassi Pressman, Lorna Tolentino, Rowell Santiago, Tirso Cruz III, Joel Torre, Jaime Fabregas, Shaina Magdayao, Angel Aquino, McCoy de Leon, John Prats, Raymart Santiago, Michael de Mesa, Lester Llansang, Marc Solis, Romnick Sarmenta, Mark Lapid, Arron Villaflor, John Medina, Sancho Vito, Josef Elizalde, Kim Molina, Bianca Manalo, Ana Abad Santos, Franki Russell, Ara Mina, Arlene Muhlach, Julian Parizcova Segovia, Jessica Marasigan, Whitney Tyson, and Nonong Balinan.
Aside from doing so, it can be recalled that Coco, the primetime series’ lead actor and creative director, was one of the artists who appeared in the “Laban Kapamilya” Facebook live event last Friday, May 8.

Coco reiterated how ABS-CBN has been helping not only its employees, but our kababayans as well through the years. He also went on to thanked the company for the efforts it has done, especially now that we’re in the middle of a pandemic.
At the onset of ABS-CBN’s shutdown, the FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano cast would take their fight in real life and face their biggest challenge, not as characters in the show, but as real people threatened with a loss in livelihood and an uncertain future.
