Determined to exterminate Task Force Agila, the entrance of Black Ops changed the course of Cardo (Coco Martin)’s life in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano. This unit of elite hunters showed no mercy during their first intense crossfire with Cardo’s group, thus en route to joining the show’s list of most hated and iconic ‘villains.’
The Black Ops, after all, is the only group of enemies who managed to attack the hero by his kryptonite – his wife, Alyana (Yassi Pressman). While the target grieves, the squad won’t take a break from wreaking havoc on Cardo’s life as part of a mission driven by selfish gains.
But, equipped with wrath and grit, Cardo is likewise determined to eliminate the Black Ops one by one starting with its core officers Albert (Geoff Eigenman) and Lia (Jane De Leon), igniting another life-and-death engagement to be shown in the coming episodes.
As we anticipate another round of heart-stopping face-off, let’s take a peek into some behind-the-scene happenings with the elite force on the set of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
Launch this gallery to see the pack headed by Geoff and Jane bond over smiles and snapshots. They would go fierce in some photos, brandishing their high-powered firearms. Jane mentioned in an interview that she had to recharge physically, emotionally, and mentally for her character. They also had to learn basic gun handling techniques.
Joining Geoff and Jane are Vance Larena, Paolo Paraiso, Mark Macmahon, and AJ Raval as the other Black Ops members who also made their debut on the January 21 episode. With their outgoing personalities, it was easy for the show’s latest recruits to establish rapport on and off cam, and with senior co-actors. Jane and Vance shared some ‘pards’ moments as well. The two play good friends in the series, with Vance’s PS/Sgt. Ivan Ponce as a confidante of Jane’s Captain Lia Mante.
