Action-drama series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano did not disappoint as it resumed airing last June under the ‘new normal’ taping guidelines. The fresh episodes shot since the lockdown featured Cardo (Coco Martin) and his pack trying to find a new hiding place after helping Lolo Delfin (Jaime Fabregas) escape his jeopardy, paving the entrance for a new character.
The show made buzz anew when matinee idol Richard Gutierrez joined the cast as Lito, the powerful businessman who shares a romantic past with Alyana (Yassi Pressman). The desperate need to look for a safe place will bring Cardo’s group en route to Alyana and Lito’s hometown in the province, thus adding another layer of conflict in the couple’s married life.
As they embark on a new chapter, the gang is back to the peaceful and simple ‘buhay-probinsya.’ Here’s a sneak peek of how they cope with the ‘new normal’ filming in their cinematic shooting location.
A photo in this gallery shows Alyana and Lito sharing a picnic scene – fresh air, lovely view, and ‘sparks.’ But, of course, romantic CarYana scenes are up as well, like the one where Cardo held Alyana’s hands and uttered heartfelt promises about their family while they’re surrounded with lush scenery.
New home means new wardrobe. Didn’t we all miss Alyana’s off-shoulder tops paired with flowy skirts that bare her pristine feminine appeal?
Serious conversations happen off-cam but with proper physical distancing. The cast and crew comply with COVID-19 filming protocols by wearing their face masks, face shields, and gloves.
Coco was photographed kite flying. But when giving out instructions as director, he takes things seriously, so his co-stars listen intently to all that he says.
