Three years after the last time we saw him on the Kapamilya channel through his stint in the “Kapitbahay” episode of Ipaglaban Mo, former matinee idol Cogie Domingo made his delighting television comeback last month after getting hired to be a part of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.

Portraying the role of Police S/Insp Eric Opeña, he’s one of the police officers tasked to hunt down Renato Hipolito (John Arcilla) and seize the remaining members of Lucas Cabrera’s midnight cabinet, which is a part of President Oscar Hidalgo’s (Rowell Santiago) pursuit to kick out corrupt officials from the government.

This might have thrilled those who have been following his showbiz career ever since his launch in the 90s at the age of 16, but the experiences he had gone through before this much-awaited return were spiteful.

Fortunately, there are people who stayed by his side and accompanied him as he hurdled those obstacles and triumphantly walk past that dark phase of his life.

One of them is his gorgeous and loving wife Ria Sacasas, to whom he’s been married for already three years now. 

In one of his media interviews, the 33-year-old seasoned actor described her as his soulmate for she was able to change him and make him feel different by the time that they were able to get to know each other deeper.

With all the troubles and controversies he got involved in, Cogie is indeed blessed to have her in his life because of the unconditional love and unwavering support Ria has for him. By simply looking at their photos together uploaded on his Instagram account, it’s not hard to say that this well-traveled and #foodie couple are unmistakably happy in each other’s arms.
