Given the challenges of mounting intense drama and action-packed scenes via bubble taping, the stars of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano found the perfect way to boost their bubbly and bright energy on the set – through dancing! Watch their dance collabs for loads of good vibes:
FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano cast loves to take on trending dance challenges. Their own spin on the “Skiri” Dance Challenge was shot at the pool area, with everyone looking so fierce and ready for a dance duel with Cardo Dalisay (Coco Martin) and his fighters. “Cardo Dalisay! Ilabas mo ang iyong mga Agila! Lumaban ka!” John Arcilla joked in the caption.
It was so fun they had to record another version!
These dance videos also serve as icebreakers between the show’s kontrabidas and their enraged viewers. You probably didn’t expect Lily (Lorna Tolentino), Renato (John), and Art (Tirso Cruz III) – the show’s evil trio – to be this perky and crazy behind the scenes!
Just as how dedicated they are to their roles, the cast also puts effort in the choreography and camera angles with the help of the show’s production team. Their “Waka Waka” video opens with an extreme close-up of Whitney Tyson as she lip-syncs the intro. The camera zooms out to show everyone dancing to the chorus part. We’re giving them extra points for the good blocking, color-coordinated outfits, and the energy!
Looking for a motivation to work out? Check out Team Palasyo’s zumba session! Tirso served as their instructor. In an interview for Kapamilya Chat, Maika Rivera, playing Cassandra, shared that Tirso’s energy is contagious, “Nakaka-sampung kanta na kami tapos sabi niya, ‘Hindi, nagwa-warm up pa lang tayo.” But don’t forget to dance responsibly; follow social distancing.
The cast members were so hyped to welcome the ‘Ber’ months, so much they danced to the tune of Earth, Wind, and Fire’s catchy hit, “September.” Rowell Santiago opens the video collage with his happy dance moves in his room.
Good times, good times on the set! The trio of Mariano (Rowell), Elizabeth (Whitney) and Ambo (Nonong Ballinan) provide as the show’s comic relief, and they also bring the good vibes from TV to social media.
Pantomime but make it fun and sexy! Maika was sandwiched by Direk Rowell and Nonong as they showed off their skilled moves in their version of the “Breakfast” Challenge.
Ara Mina found her newest TikTok recruit in Whitney and together, they do happy vids in between taping breaks like their light-hearted “Bumpy Ride” Dance Challenge.
For the finale, here are the FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano stars dancing to “We Are Family” because, really, they are family and we viewers can feel the love and bond they share. This could pass off as a music video!
These videos make us want to see Coco and the Agilas showcase their dance moves as well!
