Deceit and evil try to triumph over love in the October 2 episode of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano titled #FPJAP5Asawa. Blinded and obsessed, Clarice (Rhen Escano) vows to take Cardo (Coco Martin) from Alyana (Yassi Pressman) while Lito (Richard Gutierrez) infiltrates the marriage as well.
The episode opens with Jacob (Marc Abaya) exacting his revenge on Juan (Romnick Sarmenta) at Renato (John Arcilla)’s command. They keep the incident a secret, knowing that the murder might spark conflict with Lily (Lorna Tolentino). They would later on discover that Juan has been working underground with a still unidentified syndicate.
Art (Tirso Cruz III) demands Ellen (Ara Mina) to leave for the States, so to keep her safe. But Ellen defies his wishes and she makes sure to act as a good wife to him in order to prove the weight of her presence. Ellen assures Art that he will soon retrieve Clarice from Cardo’s group and exact his vengeance on them.
Meanwhile, Elizabeth (Whitney Tyson) and Ambo (Nonong Ballinan) are excited to take a glimpse of President Oscar (Rowell Santiago) as he takes his meal. However, Lily orders them not to talk with the President.
At the Task Force Agila’s hiding place in Batangas, Cardo and the group are impressed with Clarice’s change of heart. But as Cardo approaches the lady, he would learn that stealing him from Alyana remains Clarice’s driving force behind the sudden changes in her. He stressed that he is already a married man. However, Clarice boldly shows disrespect to the couple’s union, saying a spouse can be easily replaced and she vows to stop at nothing until she takes Alyana’s place in Cardo’s heart.
Cardo keeps mum as the Task Force Agila praises Clarice in unison. Meanwhile, Lito is also determined to win Alyana back without putting his dark secrets at risk.

For a newcomer like Rhen, the chance to be part of a big teleserye like FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano is truly an unexpected blessing. She received the invite for a go-see audition right after the premiere of her launching movie. She was nervous and hesitant. After what seemed like a quick ‘job interview’ with Direk Coco Martin, Rhen figured that she bagged the role.
Shaina worked with Coco in several projects before including the hit primetime series Juan dela Cruz so the actor-director has a grip of her acting prowess. Shaina received a call from Coco himself asking her for a guest appearance on the show. Portraying a lady cop is a fun experience for Shaina. Most especially, she’s happy to be one of the boys on and off-cam. “Malapit na akong maging lalaki,” she quipped.
The ladies have nothing but praises for Coco, sharing how dedicated he is as an actor, a director, and a part of the creatives. They described him as the brain behind the success of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
Marissa revealed that her role in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano is a dream she prayed for. Just as when she was about to give up due to the ABS-CBN shutdown, Marissa finally received the answer to her prayers. She’s truly grateful – for the job, the experience, and Coco’s inspiring kindness. Marissa would vouch for Coco’s brilliance as a director and his genuine care towards his team. She said that while face masks hide Coco’s smiles, his eyes still reflect the burning concern and passion.
Because she wanted the role so bad, Marissa doesn’t mind the bashers, if there are any. Whatever they say, she knows she’s taking responsibility for her character. She added that Coco gave her the chance to take a break from the side-splitting comedy for a more serious portrayal.
