After the intense battle in the North that kept us thrilled for days, the cast of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano shares behind-the-scenes photos showing how crucial yet fun it was mounting the scenes.
Just a quick recap, the Task Force Agila backed up by Armando (John Estrada)’s team triumphed against enemies in a gunfight at Don Ignacio (Tommy Abuel)’s exhibit. In the aftermath of the war, they plan to extract the truth from their hostage President Oscar (Rowell Santiago), who they didn’t know is the impostor Mariano.
Mariano pretending as President Oscar got a taste of Cardo (Coco Martin)’s hard-hitting wrath. Despite the brutal hits, he remained arrogant until almost all the high-ranking Agilas are triggered to lay their harsh, vengeful hands on him. So he ended up bloodied.
But still goofy off-cam!

The two-week battle must have been too daunting. Here, a still bloodied Direk Rowell takes a mental reset with Angel Aquino and Jay Gonzaga by doing a one-legged yoga pose.

The creative team didn’t shy away from blood, of course. Among the cast members drenched in gore is CJ Ramos playing Patrick, who was struck by a bullet on the chest.

This is how they looked like with their game faces on:
The cast further shared snaps and stills from sequences wherein Task Force Agila managed to escape bringing with them the President, thanks to the assassins’ save.

Did you also feel the adrenaline while watching Coco’s stylized gunfight with Lito (Richard Gutierrez) and Albert (Geoff Eigenmann)? The hero showed up standing on the roof rack of a vehicle ready to throw a barrage of bullets at the enemies to save Ramil aka Manager (Michael De Mesa).

Alongside acting, Coco is extra hands-on directing the series. The photo below suggests he’s giving instructions for the ‘beating’ scene at the mansion-hideout.

The battle led to the death of some characters including Marela Torre’s Thalia, Maika Rivera’s Cassandra, and from the Black Ops Mark McMahon’s Captain Fabia and Paolo Paraiso’s Captain Alcantara.
Marela previously gave a sweet message to her FPJ's Ang Probinsyano family. Maika uploaded a video montage of her character’s highlight scenes coupled with her thank yous. In the caption, she mentioned the actors whom she often shared scenes with – Lorna Tolentino, Tirso Cruz III, John Arcialla, Direk Rowell, as well as her on-screen frenemy Ara Mina, and the sidekicks Nonong and Whitney Tyson.

The caption, “It has been an honor to be part of #fpjsangprobinsyano for the past year and few months. I have learned so much. I gained not only knowledge and experience but also a family in the people I’ve worked with.”
