Cardo and Joaquin’s most epic clashes on FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano

Who would dare miss a beat as two of the most popular characters on primetime TV fight it out in skirmishes, fisticuffs, and gunbattles.

The onscreen rivalry between SPO2 Ricardo “Cardo” Dalisay (Coco Martin) and Police Insp. Joaquin Tuazon (Arjo Atayde) is truly epic as their climactic face-offs are always the most anticipated on the top-rating FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.

Here are some of the most memorable battles we’ve seen so far.

1.Cardo, Joaquin mistake each other in botched operation

They exchanged blows and even made some incredible wrestling moves of their own. But as soon as they pointed their guns to one another, they were startled realizing that they just mistook each other for Diego (Ping Medina), a fugitive, who was the main target of their mission. Unfortunately, their ‘tandem’ didn’t work out well as the real enemy escaped.

2.Cardo wrangles with Joaquin anew in drug bust

In a drug bust, Cardo confronts Joaquin, who is very much involved in the illegal drug trade.  They aimed their guns at each other while they anticipate their next move.

3.Joaquin frames up Cardo

Joaquin and his unit frames up Cardo by bringing him to the supposed hideout of a bigtime drug syndicate and planting evidence against him, turning him into a drug suspect. This of course shocked his colleagues as he is known as a morally upright policeman.

4.Cardo, Joaquin come to blows anew in jail

Following Cardo’s arrest, Joaquin “visited” him in jail. But Cardo knew Joaquin was behind his incarceration and wants him to pay for it.

5.“Criminal” Cardo faces Joaquin again in gunfight

After a long gunbattle, Cardo and Joaquin come face to face and vow to fight each other till the end—when only one of them survives.

6.Cardo guns down Joaquin in encounter

Joaquin fired several gunshots at Cardo, but it took only one shot for Cardo to hit Joaquin, who fell off the ship.

As the series continues, we can expect heart-stopping, exhilarating encounters between these two lead characters in the most watched television show in the country, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, weeknights after TV Patrol on Primetime Bida.
