In 2014, Albert joined the melodrama series "Sana Bukas Pa ang Kahapon" and played the role of Leo Romero. The show also starred Bea Alonzo and Paulo Avelino.

"All of Me" was Albert's next big project. Manuel Figueras (Albert Martinez) left his flourishing career as a doctor to live in an island after his wife, Dianna (Ina Raymundo) dies. Out there in a marooned location, he meets Lena Dimaculangan (Yen Santos). The young lady eventually falls in love with the older man and challenges him to embrace life again and bet on their future together.

Finally, we now all know Albert Martinez as Papa Toms. Real name Tomas Tuazon, he is the head of a crime syndicate which practices robbery, human trafficking, illegal donor trafficking, drug trafficking, and so on and so forth. His son Joaquin, Arjo Atayde, is ironically a policeman who lives a double life as a man of the law and as the protector of his father's business.
