In the past two months, we’ve followed the exciting, awesome, and action-packed journey of Alex Walker, impeccably portrayed by seasoned American actor Christian Kane, in the weekly crime drama series Almost Paradise.

And this coming Sunday, May 23, we’re going to witness its 10th and last episode that will certainly push us to the edge of our seats and leave our mouths agape because it is going to be literally and figuratively explosive!

Based on the teaser, Alex Walker’s estranged daughter Evelyn is going to have a sudden appearance after not seeing each other for a very long time. Besides, we’re also about to finally find out what did exactly happen between him and his cunning ex-partner in the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) 17 months ago during their critical police operation in Barcelona, Spain.

 

 

This, along with his life-long battle with hypertension, prompted him to leave the agency and have an early retirement from the law enforcement. As avid viewers know, he moved to Cebu in hopes of living a simple, peaceful, and brand-new life as a hotel gift shop owner. But that never happened for his past haunted him as the affluent and criminal elements on the island have drawn him back to the arduous job he opted to leave – hopefully for good.   

Just when we thought that he’s going to ultimately have a quality time with Evelyn and achieve the bliss he’s been yearning, Alex is going to get into another round of nail-biting action once again after his beloved daughter gets kidnapped. He and his reliable friends Detective Kai Mendoza (Samantha Richelle) and Detective Ernesto Almares (Art Acuña), of course, are there to help him save Evelyn and, at the same time, accomplish this grueling mission as a team. But apart from the abductors, he’s also going to unexpectedly come face-to-face with his former partner-turned-foe, who is apparently very much eager to kill him point-blank.
