After coming into terms with his troublemaker Uncle Danny, who paid him a visit while on a “business trip”, and was later on revealed as the scammer who spread counterfeit peso bills in Cebu in the seventh episode of the weekly Filipino-American action series Almost Paradise, our mighty hero Alex Walker (Christian Kane) is going to get himself in another trouble in the forthcoming episode this Sunday, May 9.

According to the teaser released, Alex will be recruited to work for a celebrity again, and this time with country music star August Crowe (Billy Ray Gallion), who is seemingly his idol. With the series of high-profile kidnappings taking place in town, Chief of Cebu Police Department Ike Ocampo (Nonie Buencamino) assigns him to be his personal bodyguard in order to spare him from the infamous abductors of celebrities. And, just like in the past episodes, he is going to do this mission with the help of his friends Detective Kai Mendoza (Samantha Richelle) and Detective Ernesto Almares (Arthur Acuña).

While this duty is apparently not new to him anymore, Alex is presumably going to have a difficult time as August is going to be a handful and will eventually get in trouble.

Aside from the guest American actors and the Filipino mainstays, young award-winning actors Zaijian Jaranilla and Elijah Canlas are also part of this episode’s cast ensemble.
