Working alongside a stellar cast with KathNiel on the frontline for a first teleserye project is every artist’s dream. That’s why froshies Gillian Vicencio and Bianca De Vera are very excited about their roles in “2 Good 2 Be True.” Pamu Pamorada, although not a newbie on primetime, is just as thrilled to be part of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla’s historic comeback. And they talked about their excitement in this episode of Kapamilya Chat.

In the series, Gillian plays the boyish Tox, a ‘tropa’ of Daniel, Yves Flores, and Matt Evans’ characters. Pamu is Gemma, the ‘marites’ helper at Don Hugo (Ronaldo Valdez)’s mansion while Bianca plays the ‘kikay’ and sweet Pat, sister of Kathryn’s character, Nurse Ali.

Pamu accepted the project right away and was only told about her role on location. She said she watched videos and observed gossipmongers for her role. Gillian and Bianca had to prepare mentally as well since they are first-timers, besides watching old series and movies. There were jitters at first. But they felt comfortable in no time thanks to their co-stars’ warmth and kindness.

With a gregarious team, sometimes work feels like play. Pamu then realized that acting becomes natural when everyone gels very well. Even the more senior stars like Ronaldo, Gelli de Belen, Romnick Sarmenta, Irma Adlawan, and Cris Villanueva are very welcoming. In Bianca’s words, it’s like they found a “second home” in one another.

One of the best things about this project is they get to work with the country’s premier loveteam. Gillian, Pamu, and Bianca revealed that Kathryn and Daniel are caring and sweet even off-cam. They’re genuine and generous not just as actors but as friends.
