Ali is the most patient nurse in the world. She willingly receives Lolo Hugo's harsh words when his temper goes extreme a like when she called for an auto mechanic despite his disapproval. She understands Lolo Hugo's grogginess, which she would chalk up to stress or hurt from the past.
When Eloy (Daniel Padilla) caught Lolo Hugo shouting at Ali, the latter was kind enough to defend her 'Lolo Sir.' She will protect Lolo Hugo no matter what it takes, including having the need to play along with the relationship rumors spread by Chubs (Via Antonio) and Gemma (Pamu Pamorada) about them.
And, as the ultimate sacrifice of all, Ali will prioritize Lolo Hugo's health before that of her own. There was a scene where she fainted due to fatigue while trying to stop Lolo Hugo from driving his old car. Although told by the doctor to take bed rest for a week, Ali showed up at work because Lolo Hugo needs her more.
