As always, this year’s ABS-CBN Christmas ID “Tayo Ang Ligaya Ng Isa’t Isa” has rekindled the holiday spirit, love, and hope among many Filipinos. As part of the tradition, the brightest Kapamilya stars joined forces in singing the anthem, and many more artists appeared in the music video, which pays tribute to the everyday heroes in the community.

The 16-minute long video dazzled with the presence of Kapamilya stars, interspersed with clips that highlight Filipino Christmas traditions and give a sincere salute to heartwarming stories of unsung, everyday Filipino heroes.

The Christmas ID honored a teacher who started a small pantry for his students, a backhoe operator who went back to school to model the importance of education to his kids, an OFW reunited with her family after the two-year lockdown, a group of street sweepers, calamity rescue teams, and medical frontliners.

Among the artists present in the 2022 ABS-CBN Christmas ID are Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, who not only sang in the worship tune but also gave an early Christmas treat to a group of healthcare workers including nurses and pharmacists. The power couple carried a poster, saying “Salamat sa inyo,” and gifted the fans with Christmas goodies.

Kathryn and Daniel have been regulars in the Kapamilya Christmas IDs since their first-ever appearance as a loveteam in the 2012 “Lumiliwanag Ang Mundo Sa Kwento Ng Pasko.”  In 2015, they also took part in singing the yuletide jingle “Thank You for the Love” and have participated in the annual recording since.
