Aside from the team-up of reel-and-real-life sweethearts Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, another tandem that we adored so much in 2 Good 2 Be True is Gelli de Belen and Cris Villanueva, who amused and made us kilig as Margie Fajardo and Captain Rafael Rosales, respectively.

They apparently clicked with each other right on the very first time they met, which spawned to a beautiful friendship as they get to know each other better, and eventually a romantic affair. And just like in any relationship, theirs wasn’t also always rainbows and butterflies for they had their own share of problems, misunderstandings, and setbacks that truly put their relationship to the test.

But amidst those, it’s their genuine love for each other that still prevailed in the end as they got hitched in the last episode of the series’ “Finale 2 Remember.” Cladded in gorgeous wedding attires, Margie and Kap tied the knot through a civil ceremony attended by the people close to their hearts and who witnessed how their relationship bloomed and prospered.

Of course, her children Ali and Pat (Bianca de Vera) were there, as well as Eloy’s family and friends. And since Kap seemingly had no family with him, it was his colleagues who accompanied him. 

When it was time for her to toss her bouquet, she asked Ali if she still had to do it or should she just have to simply hand it. They were teased by their companions, but Eloy told her, “Tita M, kung kailan na po handa si Ali. Nandito lang ako, kaya kong maghintay.” Thus, she gave this retort a resounding “very good!”  

Kap and Margie may have simply squeezed their cheeks to one another instead of giving in to the request of their family and friends to kiss, but it was already enough to make our hearts flutter.
